Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 3,082 | Bear in mind that Jevity and commercial offshoots like Ensure were the first choice of NASA which were intrigued by their advantages for astronauts (light, liquid, no fuss etc). But the astronauts revolted and refused to use them, Not one space program today uses any of that canned stuff, instead "space age food" turns out to be real food, carefully prepared.
Ask yourself why that nutritionist or dietician who recommends this stuff does not actually use it themselves, if it's so good and healthy

Too much sugar and the alternative is sugarfree which has fake, sh!t in it which is even worse - chemical soup is all it is. Better to make it fresh, fresh fruits, veggies, non soy based protein, almond coconut hem quinoa milk etc...  Still have my protein shake very morning... Gets me to 2 pm.
