I think at this point you could probably give pointers to the drs. I really would ask about more rads and chemo. Things have changed since 2006 and its been six years. I think perhaps maybe to do a clean sweep he should definitely have the surgery, then chemo and rads as follow up. There are a few here who've had it several times. Actually one woman at MD anderson has had it something like 5 times. She says her dr. always finds a way to give her more. She's cancer free now.
The surgery is a necessity no doubt and I am sure your hubby doesn't want to do chemo and rads again, but maybe its a way to get rid of this once and for all.
