There was a graphic insert with a picture of our own Christine B as part of a new CDC anti-smoking drive. The on line link to the story is truncated so it does not show the graphic of Christine so here is a link to the full graphic Christine B in Washington Post Here is the post full story on the CDC drive but unfortunately it does not mention Christine A personal look at tobacco's impact Plus there are radio ads by Christine on the CDC website WAY TO GO CHRISTINE Charm

I know our Christine goes out of her way to get the word out to the public to make them aware of oral cancer, plus does as much as she can to promote the OCF. She is simply amazing, and admired by so many people. julieann

I always was a anti smoker activist with my dad and friends. I never smoked, hated this smoking thing with all my strenght. And guess what? I got tongue cancer with 29 yo. My worst nightmare was someone on my family getting cancer, and it happened to me! I never, ever smoked... It's a bit unfair when i see 70s ladies smoking as if nothing would happen...
December, 2011 - T1N0M0 SSC Oral Tongue sugery (Dec 07, 2011). Partial glossectomy, primary closure. Selective Neck dissection, all 57 nodes free. 29 at diagnosis, no risk factors at all. No smoking, drinking and HPV negative. Can you explain? I can't.
