I also just got a call from my oncologist congratulating me that the mass taken out turned out not to be cancer spreading!!! so excited, i feel like a new man! so this new aggressive treatment is working, in which I have done 3 full chemo treatments and now i will take 2 weeks to heal and start 7 wks of radiation/chemo. I feel good. getting used to not having a full tongue. every once in a while I can touch my teeth. I dont care the ENT doc says that I wont ever touch my teeth again, I believe I will if I work hard and keep pushing myself.

And with that wonderful attitude of yours, I'm sure you will do fine with the rest of your treatmentl Radiation can be a tough road and everyone reacts differently, of course with some just sailing right through the whole process and others having a more difficult time but just know that there are lots of helpful and compassionate people here to help you through it. So enjoy the good feeling of the great news you just got and keep checking back to let us know how you are doing.
