I just got home from being discharged. I also just got a call from my oncologist congratulating me that the mass taken out turned out not to be cancer spreading!!! so excited, i feel like a new man! so this new aggressive treatment is working, in which I have done 3 full chemo treatments and now i will take 2 weeks to heal and start 7 wks of radiation/chemo. I feel good. getting used to not having a full tongue. every once in a while I can touch my teeth. I dont care the ENT doc says that I wont ever touch my teeth again, I believe I will if I work hard and keep pushing myself.
