She raised close to $10,000 for OCF and had approx 100 walkers attend. Thank you also to Christine Brader and Cathi Carpenter for speaking at the event. I understand alot of tears were flowing!!!
What a great day, what amazing people who volunteered and sponsored. The OCF thanks you and appreciates your hard work and dedication to oc awareness.
Look for pictures and write up on OCF fb page in the days ahead.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Susan

She is an amazing woman who is so dedicated to helping spread awareness. Susan did an awesome job on the walk. She even presented the survivors with real leis imported from Hawaii. It truly was an honor to be able to meet her and Cathi Carpenter.
While I was there another OC survivor James Roe had the brilliant idea to tape my speech so all could hear my message. He did a terrific job with it. My words of perseverance and warning about early detection and symptoms will live long after I am no longer here to speak them.
Thank you to all who made this possible, Brian Hill, Susan Cotten, James Roe and his wonderful wife Mona, and of course a big thanks to Susan Lauria who helps to guide the promoters of the walks. Thanks also to Jamie and Megan in the OCF office for all your behind the scenes help and support. It takes a team to get such great results.
I can only hope that in my lifetime to see a decrease in oral cancer patients and an increase in the rate of the survivors.

I found it very moving, and the video was very well done. It sounds as if the Colorado event was amazing.
