Had surgery yesterday to remove about six inches of my small bowel and remove the obstruction. Surgery went fine. Had me walking around already this morning.

Now I am back on clear liquid diet graduating slowly and will be here 4-5 days until I can eat solids. Then I will go to the oncologist and decide whether to do chemo again which will only slow down the cancer I guess. No cure. I'm glad I had this forum to talk to people while I was being treated. Thanks so much.

Hi Barbara. So glad to hear that surgery went well and they have you up and walking around. I know that is the hard part but it does help you heal quicker and get "things moving" if you know what I mean. Best wishes as you continue your recovery from this surgery and onto your next treatments. We are all here for you always. Prayers your way.
