LOL JIm.

Ok yall, I had the surgery and all went well. I can breath better than I have breathed in quite awhile however I didnt get the tube out due to swelling caused by radiation. Doc said to give it a few days and he wants me to cap it over the weekend and if I can wear it capped he will take it out then. There is no doubt that I will be able to wear it capped. I can hold my finger over the end of the tube which is the same thing as it being capped and, like I said, can breath better than I have breathed in a long time.

Dx Mar 07 with Base Of Tongue Stage IV. IMRT 35x with 3 doses Cysplatin ran concurrent. Tx ended May 31,07. Left and right node involved. Radical neck disection 7/18/07

CG to husband 53,39 rads. 3 rds cisplastin ended 6/2/07 Tonsils removed 1.10.07 11 of 20 nodes positive- lump removed on rt. side of neck 1/26/07 cancer of nasal pharnyx TXN2MX 2nd rd. of chemo- carbo/taxol on 6/11/07
