Hey yall,
Just wanted to ask that yall keep me in your prayers. I have the surgery tomorrow to remove the scar tissue caused by my trach tube. If all goes as planned it will only take about 30 minutes and I will come home without the trach tube. : )

God bless you too my dear. Buzz doin ok??
Good luck Billy. On 11-02 I get to have my iv port removed. This should feel like another milestone you have achieved. That is how I look at mine coming up. BB
I also ate some chicken today so it shouldnt be long till I get this crappy peg tube out.
Keeping you in our prayers Billy, will keep watching for your posts. That is great news about the Chicken. One step at a time. Take care-LJ
Thinking of you Billy. Love from Helen
So pleased you've reached this milestone Billy--will be thinking of you.

Hi Billy,
Got you on my prayer list!
You are in my prayers as is everyone with this nasty thing. One more thing tho.. Make sure the chicken is defeathered. LOL Have a great day.
LOL JIm.
Ok yall, I had the surgery and all went well. I can breath better than I have breathed in quite awhile however I didnt get the tube out due to swelling caused by radiation. Doc said to give it a few days and he wants me to cap it over the weekend and if I can wear it capped he will take it out then. There is no doubt that I will be able to wear it capped. I can hold my finger over the end of the tube which is the same thing as it being capped and, like I said, can breath better than I have breathed in a long time.
