I think this column is one that will resonate with many of the posters here. This is such an emotional issue and one that I would guess many here have wrangled with.

Never "wrangled" with this at all really as my mind is set. I thankfully am living near WA state that has a "Death with Dignity" law as well as medical marijuana, so if it comes down to it I'll be higher then a kite until I'm about 6 months out and then I'll buy my prescription to pull the plug.

It's sad that most states are more humane to their animals then their human residents.

Excellent article... thanks for posting it. And as Eric said "It's sad that most states are more humane to their animals then their human residents"... totally agree!


Aunt diag. 2/4/10 with SCC Stage I/II on left side of tongue. Surgery 2/19/10 part. gloss./neck diss. on left side/free flap from chest muscle. TI/II,NO,MO. Clear margins with perineural invasion. Started rads 4/8/10 - 35 treatments, finished 5/26/10.
