Well just got back from Oral Surgeon who agrees that the white spot needs to come off. He actually scheduled me in for Monday morning at 10:00am. I know the waiting for results is the hard part but I'm ready to just know for sure. I have biopsy on Monday and CT scan on Tuesday. I was wondering if having the biopsy on Monday would alter the results or impact the results of the scan. I have no experience with this and I think the oral surgeon would've realized because he knows my scan is on Tuesday. Anyway, at least the ball is rolling and rather quickly I might add. I'm really nervous because after he examined me he said it was more than he had originally expected. Great.......

The small surgical procedure will not impact the outcome of the CT. They are looking for more than what is in the immediate area of the biopsy. I wouldn't read too much into his comment. Visual opinions are nothing someone can rely on.
