Present were:
Susan Lauria and her husband Harry Anita Frances ChuckF, his brother and his friend Michelle Yours truly
Not having been there last year, I have no reference for comparison, but I think it was a great turnout. The students were very motivated and I could tell that they were very interested in oral cancer. I was pushing the idea that they try to get the students from Temple to work with them and have even a greater number of walkers next year. The screening looked busy all the time.
On a personal level, I was thrilled to be asked to address the dental students in May. I hope that this turns into a yearly appearance as it did when I spoke to the students at Temple Dental.

I gave one of my cards to one of the dental students and she lives in Newport Beach and was so excited to see that it was the home of the OCF. She might stop by the enxt time she is at home. I told her you travel a lot and that Megan should be there.

There was a high level of interest and enthusiasm from the dental school, and attendees. It was especially nice to meet OCF buddies in person. I sent some pix to Megan last night. And congrats to Jerry for his upcoming speaking opportunity at Penn Dental. Looking forward to the David Nasto Memorial Walk in September!
