Hi All,
Just to let you all know that I get my tongue biopsy results tomorrow so cross whatever you can whether it be arms, legs, toes or fingers!!!
I've had to wait two weeks for it. I'm from the UK and don't have private medical insurance which is why it takes longer than in the US.
One thing that has puzzled me slightly is I rang about 11 days ago to ask if the results were ready and they said it was still "in progress" which I didn't know whether to take that as good news or bad news???
Has anybody else had to wait this long and it's been bad news?
Thanks for reading,Dave.

I have everything crossed (including my eyes) for good results. I know in Canada it seems that if there WAS something to worry about the results seem to come back alot faster - so no news could well be good news if your system is like ours.

I'll check back tomorrow - hope your system is like ours here in Canada.

Hugs.

Stay strong. Enjoy TODAY.

David,

Waiting for biopsy results is maddening. Try not to read into why it is taking two weeks. I don't think you can draw a conclusion as to good news vs bad news. Stay positive, relax, and you have a lot of people rooting for you. All the best tomorrow. And let us know what you find out. Fingers crossed-

Anita

Hi David,

Wishing you luck tomorrow, I will be thinking about you as my mom and I wait in her surgeons office awaiting biopsy results that were done two weeks ago also.

We'll be crossing everything that we can for you and mom!!

I had to wait two weeks for someone to tell me that I was still not rich and handsome...and worse yet...out of mind bending hallucinogens!

That was a joke, I still had the hallucinogens :P

Waiting sucks, but I did have to wait over six months after a hot read on a PET scan to let me know I didn't have a recurrance. Just breath, and remember it's not cancer until a biopsy says it is.

Best wishes,

Eric
