But I am OK..Cus I had a really good day otherwise !!! OK I know I mentioned that I wanted to get a booth at the county fair to promote Oral cancer awareness. SO I called today and it is $260 for a week...That is inside electricty and everything ..so I was going to do it. Then I got in touch with an organization called "Reality Check" ( the are against tobacco companies) and Guess what .They have a large booth and would love to have me and all my ideas JOIN THEM !!!!! Works for me in alot of ways 1. I wont have to man it for 12-13 hours a day alone ..( They said if I cant they will handle it) 2. They are well know ( and sponsoring lazer tag !!) 3. NO COST TO ME ! 4. They have offered to pay for my whole family to attend fair every day if I want !! ( no gonna happen ..LOL ) SO I AM EXCITED !!! I am working on trying to get dentist to do free oral cancer screenings ( Reality Check said use their name too !) And I am trying to get a few things Donated to raffle of and proceeds with be sent to OCF , as well as donation Jar ! I am going to contact Biotene and see if they would like to have some sample there. Brian is sending me more brochures, I am checkin into gettin those bracelets. I make lolipops and thought about writting somthing like " Suck on these and save your life ...tobacco free !! " We are seeing if we can get some kind of awareness shirts Donated to sell or give out to the 1st however many people. I want to do a display board of important facts !! So I need you all to let me know the ones you think we should get out there !!! And last but not least.. I would love to put a face to this disease. If anyone would like to send a photo & story ..or even just one or the other ..I want to make a display of that as well !!! This thing is going to last for 7 days ......Some one is going to see this and it is going to make a difference...that is how I am making it through today !!! And, how great you are to want to share all of this info to educate! Congratulations on your eagerness and dedication! I'm not glad you have to have a biopsy, but I had been concerned with ya over it, so better to get it cheked and know it is a neuroma. Linda

You underwent surgery but as I understand, you did not get the RT. Was there a reason for not prescribing RT by your consulting oncologist? (Please take care to *correct* me if I've misinterpreted).
I'm asking because my mother has a case very similar to yours but the doctors here *strictly* wanted her to undergo the RT without any second thoughts. I'm sure that the pain & other complications which a patient undergoes during/after RT is unimaginable... but is that the only reason it is not prescribed?
From the discussions I had with the oncologists here, I must say that RT shall be considered imperative whatever be the stage of cancer is (*not* precancerous - TisN0M0).
Any thoughts?

I will email you an article I wrote about the importance of early detection. I will include a photo.
Feel free to use it if you think it will help you with your latest project.
Your energy and enthusiasm is apparently boundless. Don't know how you do it, but keep up the good work.
As I said in my PM to you, good luck with the biopsy.
