I did that I have serveral areas being radiated and more will be added tomorrow, but th box or whatever that call it was not complete. They are radiated both side of my neck and the right side of my tongue, and the front of my neck. UGH The Chemo went well. I fell the nausea coming on so I took a Zofran, and it seemd to take it away right away. I also have compazine. I do not know if I will need to take that, buy if I do I will.

They told me both sides of my neck, and under my chin and that area. They made one mask that just came to the bottom of my chin and then they didn't like it and had me come back in for one that goes down to my shoulders. So maybe they are adding some spots too. I still don't have my final plan but I'm afraid I have an infection in my PEG and I have to get that seen tomorrow.

It's all you can do right now is take it a day at a time. Good job. Compazine worked well on my nausea issues and I still take it once in a while.
Bloop,
it's common for the PEG site to ooze and be sore and irritated, keep it clean and of course keep an eye on it. Mine was red with irritation as I was trying to be too active and didn't tape it down as securely as I should have.
Good luck, keep those spirits up and use this board as much as you need to!

I found at teh I am getting at last 22gy units a day. Some areas I am getting less and others more, but that average is 22GY. They are radiating both side of my neck and are also going to hit the lymphs nodes in my chest area as well. KILL this CANCER!!

You must have heard them wrong because you couldn't take 22 gy's a day. Most common is 2 gy's a day.

Maybe I will ask my regular RO next week if I get to see him. I did not see my regular RO today because he unavailable.
