Thanks for all the updates. Glad to hear Christine is getting better every day. I know she will be so glad when she can be free to go home ... and get back on the forum. I know she doesn't want to be there for the 2-month mark!!!

I'm happy to hear that she's breaking out of the joint very soon! There's just no place like home!

Travis, how are you doing? I hope your mom will be able to see you off properly and not with a hug from her hospital bed.

Thanks to all who have seen and spoken with Christine for the updates. The real cheering will be when she goes home.

I stopped to see Christine tonight, and she is looking and feeling better, and hoping to be heading home soon. We even took a walk around the hospital wing. I asked her if she wanted to head out the door (I think she was real tempted), but since she still was still connected to some IV's and other equipment we decided it wasnt the best idea. Plus it was only 50 degrees out so a bit nippy for those hospital gowns!

She really appreciates all the prayers, cards and well wishes.

Thanks for the post Susan, I am glad you are close enough to visit. Give her a hug from me next time.

How wonderful...it's always better to be home. Jerry, do you have a ph# for Christine's room or did you just call the hospital? I would love to call her. I have a nasty cold/flu right now so visiting is out for this week....

I'll email you her cell phone number.

I've been following your cold on Facebook. Hope you're feeling better and back to work soon.
