Travis

Man to man, I want to say you are one hell of fine son. From some of the stories here, Not many young men would bother to join OCF and update us on their mom. We all appreciate it, but considering the person your Mom is, we are not surprised at just how thoughtful and caring you are.

Another set of words put together by Charm that are perfect. Man I admire your Compositions charm. No one but you come up with the perfect words at the right time. I admire Travis also, but we know it's how Christine raised him. Travis, I will be waiting for the post that says she is awake and with it. Jim

Hey guys I went to see my mom like i do every day, its almost become like a routine now. They gave her more pain medication today to keep her from moving around because they dont want her to ruin the flap, the doctor said that they should start slowly waking her over the weekend. Other than than everything looks healthy and it looks like this second surgery is working alot better. It doent look as good cosmeticly but they got the cancer and shes healing thats all that counts.

Travis, thanks for the updates. Hope to hear she is awake and doing better this weekend. Do you have her white board and marker close by her? :-)

I keep forgetting to drop my card in the mail...I will do that soon, I actually have several. Was going to send them out days apart for when she is awake. Boy, I miss her and am excited that she will be waking up slowly and soon.

Travis,

Thanks for the update. It seems like your mom is moving in the right direction, just a little on the slow side. I do miss her and I'm looking forward to seeing her soon.
