I agree that the money should be spent for the original intent -- flowers for Christine!

If there was enough money collected, one suggestion would be to send a bouquet to the hospital, and then another one to her home while she is recuperating.

I sure miss her words of comfort and wisdom. I hope Travis gives us an update soon.

I think David's idea is a great one too! Travis, thanks for the updates on your Mom. I am sending my most positive thoughts and prayers for your mom's recovery. Sounds like they are taking good care of her. Remember to take care of yourself in the meantime.

Look the OFC is the best Foundation and the best website and this could be something that just makes it stand out even more. Please tell me of ANY other similar web site that sends flowers to it's posters undergoing surgery? NONE

It's really the thought that counts so we don't need to send Christine a huge arrangement when we could start a fund with the leftovers that could make a difference to many posters in the future.

Travis- How are you holding up? I know how difficult this is for you. We are all praying she doesn't need any more surgery. Best thoughts going out to all of you.

We are praying with you. We really want that flap to improve asap also. Christine can then come out of her slumber and start healing and give you a BIG hug for being there by her side.

Your mom will be so proud of you. Stay strong!!.

Thanks again for keeping us informed.

That is disappointing news, but Christine held her team of doctors in the highest possible regard and confident in their ability to do the very best for her, so you mom is in very capable hands.

Thinking of you both,

Karen

Travis,

Your mother was aware that this was a possibility, and I was hoping and praying that it wouldn't be necessary. Right now it is probably rougher on you since you are aware what is going on.

Your mother has a great team of doctors taking care of her, and has lots of prayers coming her way from around the world. She will be all right, but it is just going to take a little longer than expected.

Remember, it you need anything, I'm right down the road. I'll be praying for your mom and hugs to you.
