And scared. I'm trying to stay positive. It's just hard. I'm not particularly negative, just really scared.

Sigh.

I'm seeing MO and RO a week from today and the day after that, so I'll have to wait for a week to hear the results. Not sure how I'll be able to focus on anything during this week, but I'm glad it's busy at work, and I'm glad my three young kids will keep me fully engaged on the weekend. Otherwise I'd worry and drive my poor husband insane.

If it makes any difference, all of us went through exactly what emotions you are feeling right now. It's just a part of this cancer thing. Won't make any difference in the outcome so do try and concentrate on anything else.

You are right. I'm trying. smile I feel better about it today than I did before the scan. Whatever will be, will be, I'll deal with it.

I had PET+CT w/contrast. Hopefully, all my funky-looking sensitive gums is just unhealed radiation damage, and nothing else.

I'll find out in a week.

Good luck with that! You are right though, it's tough not to be optimistic or pessimistic, and I'll keep a good thought for you.

Best of luck with your upcoming test. Worrying about the results is not going to change them. Enjoy your life one day at a time. Just remember, PET scans can give false positives, its happened to me. Sending prayers to have the best possible outcome smile
