I have just come from my second visit with the Maxillo Facial Clinic and have been told that they would prefer to take my teeth out one by one ie. when they become loose rather than take the lot to save me having HBO. But I am still confused. This specialist told me that if I had all my teeth removed I would not be able to get dentures, but I understood from another doctor that I could. Any ideas please.

When they took my teeth out dentures became a medical thing and not a dental thing due to the cancer. My insurance payed 100% for my dentures. I dont see why they say you cant have dentures.

Thanks billy, I do not have insurance, but that does not matter the reason they gave for not letting me have dentures is because of the shrinking of the gums and other problems.
