No life isn't fair, and cancer sucks. If you are 2 or 102 - cancer sucks.

I am on the young side of the "baby boomer" generation and I know our CancerCare facility/staff are gearing for huge increases in cancer numbers as this group ages.

We joked one night at our Head and Neck Cancer support group (called "A Head Above") that we almost felt LUCKY to have the cancer now as we have great auxilliary resources at our disposal - everything from therapy through art, to yoga, dieticians, physio, etc, etc, etc - not to mention the big ticket RO, MO, Surgeons - but what will happen once this cancer ridden population glut hits the system?

Cancer truly sucks.
