OP Patient Advocate (old timer, 2000 posts) Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,219 | It's with great sadness and I must admit with some relief, that I was told tonight that Dot passed away this evening. The last week has been terrible for her family as she had been in a coma and had several seizures.
It's quite an accomplishment for someone in the dental assisting field to remain in the same job for over 25 years. She was my right hand, a very devoted employee as well as a friend and she will be sorely missed by me and all of her coworkers.

Retired Dentist, 59 years old at diagnosis. SCC of the left lateral border of the tongue (Stage I). Partial glossectomy and 30 nodes removed, 4/6/05. Nodes all clear. No chemo no radiation 18 year survivor.
