Everyone is different cant be more true in these types of circumstances. While some of us are able to eat right away, others will take much longer. That should be discussed with your doctor who knows the depth of your surgery and how long your recovery should be. For some, they can swallow daily, for others it could do great harm and it could cause asphixation. Please ask your doctor.
