Like everyone else it sounds like you need to see someone else. In the UK we have a charity with qualified nurses called the Macmillan nurses. They are always around the hospitals and cancer patients. They can help with pain, advice, maybe help to get through to doctors as well as help with the social care side of things. I tried to look on the internet for an equivalent in the US but couldn't find anything. Maybe your GP or consultant knows of something like that near you?
