That's great. Persistence pays off. Another great opportunity to get out the word on the importance of early detection.
You'll have to let me know how the walk in Chicago goes. I hope some other Mid-West members make it, too. Maybe next year there will be one or more on the West Coast.
I will send you a word document via email that I recently had published in a dental journal that I hope will provide you with some info to use for your article in the paper.

Retired Dentist, 59 years old at diagnosis. SCC of the left lateral border of the tongue (Stage I). Partial glossectomy and 30 nodes removed, 4/6/05. Nodes all clear. No chemo no radiation 18 year survivor.
