Anything that claims to be effective on so many levels should be viewed as suspicious. The star by the way means that this these claims are not verified.
....Claims that things work but have not been verified.... Many things are claimed but never supported and the products that are promoted are in essence snake oil. If it really does work then it should do so under a controlled environment too.
Having said that if someone manages to conclusively prove to me that snake oil (from any snake) works then I too will consider it, but not before. A couple of flashy web sites and references from the 70-80 that are quoted OUT of context do not constitute proof.
