Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 595 | Sandy, My induction chemo was cisplatin and doxtaxel at the CCC and I brought 5FU home for 5 days, was off for 2 weeks and then repeated the process 2 more times and then did carboplatin weekly with radistion for 7 weeks and NO surgery, I am now 1 year clear of canceer!! Bob age 57, non smoker,non drinker, ended treatment on 11 Nov 2007 and started back to work on 29 Nov 2007. Veterans Day 2012 the Battle was lowered, folded, Taps was played and the Flag buried as I am know a 5 year survivor. Semper-FI !!!
