The dye they put in didn't do it. They put that in before the first image, and also I've had that dye before for other tests and had no problem.

It was supposed to be image #1 at rest, then drink a glass of milk and another at-rest image #2. Then inject the chemical stressing agent by IV for image #3, and then I was supposed to eat a fatty meal before going on the treadmill for image #4.

I already knew I'd never make it on the treadmill anyway, but I was going to try. It seemed important and I really want this fixed.

I understand what you're saying about your reaction, but mine was not that. I could not breath or speak AT ALL when the stressing agent was injected. My broncheal tube immediately closed up completely and the situation had turned momentarily critical. That's why the mad rush for the oxygen mask and the med to counteract it. The Doctor referred to it as a critical asthmatic attack as a reaction to the chemical.

Oh well, Doc was training a new assistant in the procedure that day so he got to show her what to do when things go wrong. You'd think he'd be grateful that I provided the opportunity for that training. smile
