Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 309 | i had undiagnosed thrush for so long it made me not be able to swallow. it invaded the esophogus as well as the mouth ... it can grab hold and not want to let go. best to treat it aggresively and as long as it takes to know it is completely gone and if you take antibiotics - take another round of anti fungal cuz it will be back. taking probiotics can help keep it under control.
