Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 3,552 | Diflucan is the gold standard for thrush. It works the fastest and doesn't gag you like Nystatin. I was taking 4 100mg tablets a day for months.
About 6 months ago I developed thruch out of the clear blue sky (after no thrush problems for several years) and they gave me the troches - they worked fine - just took longer.
