There are so many survivors with wonderful accounts of strength and courage. So much determination and caring. So many very talented medical teams. If this is just a commercial it is opeing a whole new world. I think it should also include the care givers and their journeys. But it is not up to me
In my city there is a local journalist who survived tonsil cancer and she has really educated a lot of people on oral cancer and this week is doing an hour long interview telling her fight. Detection and awareness of oral cancer is growing. Even my physiotherapist has never worked with someone who has had my surgery although she knows someone who has. People are becoming more and more aware of Oral Cancer. This is what is needed to save people from having to endure some of the treatments needed to survive.
