I work as a casting director in NYC and we are looking for survivors of Head and Neck Cancer for a commercial that will be shooting in New Jersey around December 2nd. The commercial will focus on people's stories and will show those who have prevailed. Brian Hill kindly granted me his permission to post here. The audition will be held in NYC on Wednesday, November 12th. The reimbursement fees are $574.00 for the day plus travel and expenses. There will be residuals as the commercial will be playing around the country. The commercial is for a really good cause, related to a particular chemotherapy. I cannot disclose the company or drug at this time. However I have discussed it with Mr. Hill, and he approves of my soliciting individuals here. He only other option will be to use professional actors, and he agrees with me that actual survivors will add a credibility to the effort not obtainable through any other method.
