Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 5,260 | I have had a lump beside and behind my left ear. This is the 2nd one in that location. I had 2 other ones also. I saw my surgeon on Monday for follow up CTScan. It was good, then I showed him the lump. Very touchy lump too. His girl called me yesterday with the OutPatient time and location.5 minutes after I hung up, something felt funny about that lump. I put my handkerchef back to check it. I had pink looking nasty blood on it. Whew. Talk about mother nature and my angels taking care of things. They did it again yesterday.No outpatient needed now.
Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
