Interesting discussion. I have pursued every life insurance, mortgage insurance angle I can since diagnosis. When I was diagnosed I was in the process of signing up for Aflack cancer insurance but they had a 6 month waiting period any way and wouldn't have had to pay. The important thing is that you read the conditions and know the laws in your state. I actually had insurance for 2 months while they grilled me weekly for more past medical records and such and then they just "quietly" sent me back my premiums. On October 9, it will have been 5 years "cancer free" and I am going knocking and pounding the pavement to get something. I know I can get seomething from work but I don't know when for sure.
