I had the 3 big doses of cisplatin. My doc cancelled the 3rd dose so I only had 2 doses. After the first one I was ok til the end of week 2 then I was pretty sick. The second dose was cut down and about a week after the second dose I felt pretty bad. My blood counts dropped and I was so week that I needed a wheelchair. Smaller more frequent doses are easier to tolerate.
Watch out for a big side effect, hearing loss. Get your hearing checked before you start it and pay close attention to your hearing. Thats one side effect that I didnt get.
