The worst thing that happens when a loved one gets a terminal diagnosis,is that friends disappear.As i said at the time it happened to us ,it is almost as if people think it is catching.

The best thing you can do is just be her friend.keep everything just the way it has always been.Keep calling,keep visiting,dont pussy foot around,gossip,talk make her feel normal.

And if she needs to talk,just listen.
