Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 2,019 | I've been on synthroid for a year and 1/2 and have had no side effects at all. I was constantly cold and very tired all the time--falling asleep at 5 pm or earlier-- and getting extremely fuzzy-headed in my thinking before I went on it (because my MO's office hadn't done a test when they said they would and I assumed they had and it was normal, my TSH was way WAY high and out of whack before I was finally given the medicine).
I guess I should get the adrenal gland test as well. I'm going to talk to my MO (have an appointment with him next week) about what you said above, Brian. Thanks for the info.
