Patient Advocate (old timer, 2000 posts) Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 2,019 | Sophia, Are you flushing using the plunger part of the syringe or just letting water go through at it's own speed? What are you putting down the PEG that might cause it to occlude? I flush mine with a fast push of the plunger using seltzer water--lots of bubbles-- and usually when I do that a couple of times it gets rid of anything thhat's a problem. I'm also pretty careful what goes down it--lots of stuff can clog a PEG.
