Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 5,260 | I forgot the name of the artery in the neck this fast. LOL I have to have a needle biopsy in this big artery the 22nd. I have a question, swhen they do blood gases in the wrist, will this hurt as bad in the neck?? I am sick of being in pain 24 hrs a day and am not looking forward to this. Dr called me this afternoon and talked about it. If it shows positive, I have to have a radical neck dissection on the right side. All I want to know is how much pain is involved with this biopsy . Thanks in advance for the answer.
Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
