My mother completed her Radiation Therapy around 5 months ago and is suffering from the after-effects.

Two days back, she noticed a small sore on the right lining of her tongue covered with a whitish yellow cheesy material.

What could this be? Is it really something to worry about? Could this be thrush?

Please help...
