Some say at two years you get what you got. I can tell you that some (me) continue to improve well after even four years. In fact just today I was eating something that I popped into my mouth before getting the obligatory glass of water. Usually this causes a bit of panic to set in but this time I had enough spit to make do! Mark, 21 Year survivor, SCC right tonsil, 3 nodes positive, one with extra-capsular spread. I never asked what stage (would have scared me anyway) Right side tonsillectomy, radical neck dissection right side, maximum radiation to both sides, no chemo, no PEG, age 40 when diagnosed.
