And yes it would be a lot easier for him to quit smoking with NO other smokers in the house - it would benefit both of you (and your mother). You don't think that this can happen to you? He may wish to try something else for long term pain management such as Duragesic or oxycontin. Some people act very strangely with morphine and some do not.
