There was one thing about your post that kind of bothered me though, I hate seeing the words "not worried" and "cancer" used in the same paragraph. The new finding on your mothers arm may very well be nothing to worry about AT A LATER DATE. But for right now, until you all know all the facts, don't let the doctors take it so lightly. I would never, ever try to scare you Dani but I would feel horrible for you if months down the road what the doctors said was nothing to worry about becomes a big deal for your family. I hope this doesn't upset you. I have a friend whose father just had minor surgery for squamous cell on his back, turned out to be NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. But his doctors didn't say that until they found out how deep it was, etc. Take care, Minnie
SCC Left Mandible. Jaw replaced with bone from leg. Neck disection, 37 radiation treatments. Recurrence 8-28-07, stage 2, tongue. One third of tongue removed 10-4-07. 5-23-08 chemo started for tumor behind swallowing passage, Our good friend and much loved OCF member Minnie has been lost to the disease (RIP 10-29-08). We will all miss her greatly.
