I carried a seat cushion around with me for months. I have put most of the weight and muscle back on again and left a lot of the fat behind. We did have to shop for new clothes. I went from a 34" waist to 30".
It's a small price to pay for living.
By the way - constipation is worse! Look on the bright side - if the treatment didn't beat you up it's probably not curing anything.
