Patient Advocate (old timer, 2000 posts) Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 2,019 | Clint, When you go for the meeting with the team giving a second opinion, see if you can bring a tape recorder as you will likely be getting a lot of info. very quickly and will want to review what was said more than once. Also, it's a good idea to bring a friend or someone who can help be an extra pair of ears. Also, I would write down a list of questions you have first to make sure you have them all answered.

I know for me,one of the most stressful times in this whole process was when I went for my second opinion and was getting disagreeing recommendations about treatment from pople locally. There was just so much to process quickly and over what was a really critical decision! Please come back and let us know what you hear from th biopsy results and the second opinion.
