Hey Bob, Glad to hear the last x-ray is normal. (I told you so :p )

Hypothyroid symptoms include shortness of breath. The thyroid imbalance makes the blood less able to carry oxygen. It is part of the whole metabolic slowing which comes with hypothyroid. If you have had the test recently then this post is for the benefit of all the other readers, if you haven't then go for it.

Mark, 21 Year survivor, SCC right tonsil, 3 nodes positive, one with extra-capsular spread. I never asked what stage (would have scared me anyway) Right side tonsillectomy, radical neck dissection right side, maximum radiation to both sides, no chemo, no PEG, age 40 when diagnosed.
