Wecome to OCF from Kim, the fiance of Dave, who is from your part of the world, Manchester UK. I'm also the owner of said pom-poms mentioned above and self-admit to panicking regularly as the folks here know well. I'm really glad you had a false alarm and will keep said pom poms raised until we hear back from you.

The good news I am happy to report is that although biopsies are horribly scary, there is life to reclaim if indeed oral cancer lurks. You already have one leg up being British ( I learned stoicism from Dave). We are getting married this summer and will be across the pond in the UK in July.
