I read your post twice it made me so darn happy! I don't know what I would have done or how I would have handled it if my husband had been diagnosed with cancer rather then me. It would have just broken my heart to watch him go through what I went through. I remember my first day back in the gym working with the kids..........I called my husband on break from my cell phone, out back of the gym, crying because I felt so normal again. I'm glad your day was wonderful and that there are many more in your future.

SCC Left Mandible. Jaw replaced with bone from leg. Neck disection, 37 radiation treatments. Recurrence 8-28-07, stage 2, tongue. One third of tongue removed 10-4-07. 5-23-08 chemo started for tumor behind swallowing passage, Our good friend and much loved OCF member Minnie has been lost to the disease (RIP 10-29-08). We will all miss her greatly.
