I think everybody here will say in unison: Go and have a doctor check it out tomorrow! It very well is nothing to worry about but you need to know.
While you are at it, quit the chew today. If you need to see scars to scare you into quitting, let me know and I'll send you a picture.
Mark, 21 Year survivor, SCC right tonsil, 3 nodes positive, one with extra-capsular spread. I never asked what stage (would have scared me anyway) Right side tonsillectomy, radical neck dissection right side, maximum radiation to both sides, no chemo, no PEG, age 40 when diagnosed.
