Hi
My name is Lincoln and I'm 55 and just had oral surgery for tongue cancer. I'm in NYC. Had surgery through Weill-Cornell at NY Presbyterian on 68th street. The doctor got the whole tumor, 8mm deep, took out over thirty lymph nodes which showed no sign of disease. I see a radiologist on Monday. My surgeon said new data showed a 25% possible recurrence rate without radiation and 5% or less with it. I can talk and swallow and can manage the pain on Advil now. Eating mushy food one and a half weeks from surgery. I can't wait to chat with people here!
Thanks in advance for your support and guidance-
Peace
Lincoln
